SNOWFLAKE n' CHARLEY n' TRAINEES
The Training Seminar is a one day session held annually first Saturday March 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. AT Lake Texoma Baptist Resort Conference Center "The Helm" located 10 Mi. West of Durant Ok. on Hwy 70 then 1 Mi. South on Willow Springs Road.
The Second Seminar will be the same information repeated first Saturday April 9:00 a.m.
to 1:00 p.m. (Location to be announced)
The Teams are in place from Memorial Day through the last week of July. Each Team spends a week ministering to resort visitors.
The Teams should plan to arrive on or before 5:30 pm on Monday for an Orientation that begins at 6:00 pm at their area of assignment.
Day Camps are scheduled Tuesday through Sunday from 9:30 am to 12:00 noon. You may select one night during the week each Team invites the camper families for "Family Night" program.
Afternoon and Mondays are free activities time for the Teams. Activities include Fishing, Water Skiing, Horseback Riding, Golf, Miniature Golf, Bumper Boats, Go-Carts, Batter's Cage, Swimming, Etc. Or, visit nearby places of interest. The activity availabity may vary at various lakes.
We have found that Team Leaders who attend our Training Seminar are very effective.
